I don't understand the issue with "change" being such a bad thing, especially when that change might involve talking to our enemies, not just flexing our muscles and puffing our chest out. I can't imagine that its worth this mess for another 4 years just so conservatives can feel warm inside about the safety of our own country, at risk of being a bully. I read a comment today, the question was: If Obama gets the Democratic Nomination, would you vote Republican? One person answered, "I would rather be in Iraq for 100yrs than to have Iraq here for 1", Well I bet this person hasn't ever served in the military and most assuredly doesn't have any family members in the military. This is a response from an "educated" voter. McCain isn't going to talk to anyone, he's going to make threats and cause more issues for America. Granted, he might get us out of Iraq in a "timely" manner, but then its on to Iran or N. Korea or another "axis of evil". DON'T MIS-INTERPRET WHAT I'M SAYING: I am not implying that those countries aren't a very serious potential threat, what I am saying is, WHEN DID DIPLOMACY BECOME A BAD THING? When did it become, act first, talk second? Listen, I'm pro military. I want our military to be the baddest, most respected military in the world. I want countries to think twice before coming over here to start something, but nobody respects a bully and that is what we are becoming, a global bully. You've read enough stories and have seen enough movies to know what happens to the bully in the end. McCain is just an extension of the Bully Politics. The differences on health care and abortion and taxes and the fact that Obama is black(don't act like its not a factor) aren't going to matter when the world finally tires of us acting like a bully.

Hmmmmm... Let's see.. "WHEN DID DIPLOMACY BECOME A BAD THING?" Diplomacy never became a bad thing. What an educated person will say in response to your comment is this: Diplomacy only works if you have two or more participants who are willing and compromise in order to reach a common goal of peace (in this instance). The problem with diplomacy in this instance is that we are dealing with people who... and let me be very clear about this... HAVE NO VALUE FOR HUMAN LIFE. If someone could ever, in the recorded history of our world, show me a time when radicals have ever been able to be peaceful with people who have opposing beliefs I will change parties, paint a yellow stripe down my back, and become a Liberal. What some people see as the US being a bully others see as the US doing what we have always done... and that is protect our way of life. What some of us tend to forget is that the US has willingly sacrificed our own lives to protect other countries. Example, WW1, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam... Ah Vietnam just a quick history lesson that we should all remember. We did not lose in Vietnam. We had broken the back of the North Vietnam army and we had brokered a peace treaty for North and South Vietnam.... But then you know who got into office and when suddenly pulled our troops out of Vietnam then 250,000 South Vietnam people were slaughtered because of politics... And that is right where we will be if the Junior Senator from IL gets into office. Change is a word not a platform.... People should wake up and realize that Baracks "Change" is a change to Socialism and what some could call Communism. I would challenge all of us to do a google search on "Communist Manifesto" and compare that to Baracks campaign platform.... Then you will see what his "Change" really means. Thank You..

This site is awesome. Great post Agnostic Conservative. I hope aliberalChristian? enjoys the lines at the DMV. That is a sneak peak into the future of the U.S. Healthcare system if Obama is elected. At least if he socializes our healthcare system the immigration problem will be fixed. Our country will be such a mess that no one will be dying to get in like they do today.
